Hi, my Wife is Ukrainian and is living with me in the UK and has a valid residence permit. My Sister in Australia has invited us both to live with her for 1 year and so far I have been granted my 1 year working Visa, tomorrow I will be posting my wife’s 676 form 48r application. I have included my sisters invitation to my wife inviting her to stay rent free for the duration of our visit and have included bank statements from my sister and her husband showing savings over 13000 AUD, I have also included bank statements showing proof of funds over 4000 AUD and have pointed out in a letter that I will be working and can support her further if need be. Does anyone think there will be any problems with this? And.... does anyone know roughly how long it will take to either get her visa or at least get a reply?
From what you’ve listed all the documents seem to be just fine. If the Immigration authorities have any further requirements they will contact your wife. I presume that because this is a paper application it will take a couple of weeks for the Immigrations to get back to you.
